Celebrating the creativity of queer artists worldwide!

We’re launching a new online project called QueerSp_ace Editorials to celebrate the work of photographers, videographers and stylists creating queer-inclusive fashion editorials fine art stories and narratives. Our goal is to celebrate queer perspectives from all of the world. We hope your voice will be included!

Now Accepting:

Photographic and video stories, which can be fashion focused, fine art based, or narrative driven.

Photography: minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 single images.

Video: minimum of 1 minute and maximum of 10 minutes.

All stories must be queer-inclusive. Examples include:

  • Featuring queer-identified model(s)

  • Featuring queer fashion brands

  • Queer creative team with queer perspective

  • Queer/LGBTQIA+ story line/narrative

  • Unisex / Gender Free / Androgynous styling

  • Gender Fluid / All Gender styling

We do not censor. We believe in free expression. Nudity is accepted. However, overtly sexual submissions will likely not be accepted, as this is not our company focus or audience.

We reserve the right to publish segments of stories and our videos on our social media platforms, in an effort to generate interest in your work. We will NOT use any work in paid advertising campaigns, or for QueerCut marketing purposes, without written consent and contraction.


Submissions:

For photographic submissions, please send a low-res version of story via email. If your story is accepted, we will request hi-res files.

For all stories, please give us 7-14 business days to respond to your submission.

Photography Guidelines:

  • All work submitted must be original and copyright free.

  • Previously published work (online or print) must be identified in submission, and must be copyright free, and available for reprint.

  • Include all team credits, including photographer, stylist and model(s). Links will be provided for photographer, stylist and models only.

  • Include clothing credits (only when necessary) in a separate document (MS Word preferred).

  • For fashion submissions, please identify season of clothing, and if story must be limited to the season of the collection.

  • Images must not already be “laid out.” We will lay out each story according to our own design specs. It is possible that we may drop out some images in final layout.

  • All work submitted must be hi-res, 300dpi, images.

  • Files must be in .tiff or .jpg format.

  • Story titles may be suggested, but we have the right to create our own titles.

  • We recommend sending final files via WeTransfer.

Photographic stories published on QueerSp_ace on the QueerCut website, are allowed to be published elsewhere, but not in the same layout. Links back to the original story on QueerCut is highly appreciated.


Video Guidelines:

  • All work submitted must be original and copyright free.

  • Previously published work (online or print) must be identified in submission, and must be copyright free, and available for reposting.

  • Submissions should be either links to Vimeo or YouTube.

  • No links or advertising allowed in video.

  • The person submitting work for consideration is responsible for including all credits along with video.

  • Video submissions that align with the QueerCut brand are most likely to be accepted.

Video stories published on QueerSp_ace on the QueerCut website, are allowed to be published elsewhere. Links back to the original story on QueerCut is highly appreciated.


Please Note:

We do not currently provide any type of “pull letters” for clothing or accessories. Please direct brands to the QueerCut website to provide legitimacy of request.

We are not legally responsible for any activities related to your photo or video shoot.

We do not hire, or pay for any work submitted to QueerSp_ace.

We are not affiliated directly with any brands or companies, nor do we currently accept any form of advertising on our website.
